Nah, not really.. I just don't want to blog while walking.
Will get back once I'm home.
Meanwhile: happy new year.
Yeah.

...
So... the day(or night) started out with me going out with my family, to someplace called CHIJMES. The food was great, and in the meantime:
"$65++ per person" on the menu
=_________=||
so expensive.. with my eldest sister's longtime boyfriend included, that came out to more than $400 total.. so expensive.. so indulgent. Sigh.
There was a funky band going around while we were eating. The music was really catchy, and although completely different, reminded me of this:

<Sway> by Pussycat dolls. >_> idk why, though.
then my eldest sis ordered a bottle of wine. I flushed really badly after one glass and proceeded to drink a few more quarter-glasses. (haha). Actually, since i'm 16 i think im underage (but don't tell the watress that >.< :D)
Then after walking around , we fnally found a rather good spot. Actually the best ones are in the offices in the CBD (central business district) but obviously we couldn't go there -_-.. so we settled for a fountain in front of a hotel. The fireworks were really stunning and lasted about 10 minutes.. Can't describe it, but i was so stunned i forgot to take my phone out to video the whole gig. And there was a killjoy car which honked continuously for two seperate periods. WTF.
So... back home now.
There were times i brooded during the celebrations. Just like Rupunzel (the movie).. I found that immensely heart- wrenching too.
What lies after the magic wears off...
When you become sober once more...
is despair.
And the efforts to wriggle desperately like a fish, trying to escape the inevitable reality all come to naught.
I just hope that i DO manage to get (without reduction) an L1R5 of below 8.... =_=
and my higher chinese passes so i get my minus two points...
will explain how that crap works in a later post.
Now, it's time to drown in my sorrows once more.
Back to IMO.
And manga.

BTW, regardless of whether i go to a JC or poly(D:) , my new year's resolution is to work harder than before.
I hope i stick to it.
